
Farm Tour: September 20
People’s Food Co-op and Food Front, are excited to participate in the 2009 “Organically Grown in Oregon Week” with our first annual Farm Tour!
On Sunday, September 20th, we will load up onto a bus and head out to where our food really Seasonality is key at People’s and Food Front as our main mission is to support local business, local economy and therefore, local food. comes from – the farms!
Please note the following:
Ø The bus will leave promptly at 9am and will return by 5pm from People’s Food Co-op.
Ø Please be considerate of shoppers that will arrive throughout the day and homeowners needing access to their homes and park your car on the various surrounding blocks of the co-op.
Ø Note: there is ample bike parking as well.
Ø We will eat lunch around 12:30 at the 2nd farm on the tour. Drinks during lunch are provided.
Ø Please bring your own supply of water for the day.
Ø If you or your child is allergic to bees or other elements, please bring the materials necessary to keep you/them safe.

Join us for a quick clean up of the neighorhood around Food Front. Free coffee and treats on the patio afterwards.
Summer Happenings
Hillsdale Farmers Market
Sundays, 10am-2pm
Fresh produce, music, and prepared food every Sunday. Held at the Wilson High-Rieke Elementary Parking Lot. The main entrance to the parking lot is located at the intersection of SW Sunset Blvd. and SW Capitol Hwy.
EcoTrust Farmers Market
Thursdays, 3:30-7:30pm
Meet local farmers and producers at the EcoTrust Market
(NW 10th and Johnson St). Food Front is a proud sponsor of the market again this year.
